an antique, late 18th Century wax seal, made of glass, with the technique known as millefiori, with on the silver matrix a coat of arms
we could not trace the coat of arms, with:
a shield per pale,
on tincture for blue / azure, three five-pointed stars, on gold a red heart, pierced with an arrow,
the barred helmet is slightly turned to the left, for heraldic: dexter / right
as crest a five-pointed star
the 3 stars on blue with the same (rare) turned helmet and star crest can be found for Paping, a silversmith in Groningen, Netherlands
his wife was also a silversmith, so maybe they made this wax seal and it might have been for personal use, so they did not needed to add hall marks
wouldn't it be romantic if it is a seal to close their letters with love,
maybe refering to a passionate moment under a night sky full of silver shining stars
