Familiewapens op lakstempels / zegelstempels,
soms bekend, soms onbekend.
Coat of arms on wax seal stamps,
sometimes known, sometimes unknown.
Collection: Delta 98 Den Haag, The Hague, The Netherlands

Known and back to the family Verloop

this antique wax seal found it's way back to
a descendant of the family

the matrix shows a lovely coat of arms
with a shield per fess,
with a carpenters square and a running horse,
the supporters are winged angels,
holding the shield with one hand and a palm branch in the other,
they stand with their weight on one leg

for a nice and extensive document about the family history,
written by A. Verloop from Kirkland, USA,
search with:
Genealogie van het geslacht Verloop, Verloop Voorouders
it is written in Dutch, but there are many illustrations,
also of other known Verloop crests
